My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at District Thai on George Street in York. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculate, clean, and welcoming the entire restaurant was. Our waitress, Awa, was outstanding, warm, attentive, gracious, and genuinely committed to making sure we enjoyed our evening. Her excellent service made us feel truly welcomed and well cared for. The food was incredible fresh, beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with great skill and pride. I also had the pleasure of meeting Head Chef Lada Khieowarn, and it was an honor to personally compliment her on such an exceptional meal. Her talent and dedication are evident in every dish that comes from her kitchen. We also enjoyed visiting their small retail market and purchased several food items to take home. It was a wonderful addition to the experience and gave us an opportunity to continue enjoying authentic Thai flavors after our meal. District Thai deserves the highest accolades for its delicious food, exceptional hospitality, spotless atmosphere, and unique retail market. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning.

This is one of my favorite places in York, Pa. I have been here several times and the food as well as the service is excellent!

Laid back cozy atmosphere with great music. The tables and chairs were nice. The waitress and staff were very kind and understanding of different diners. Their food and service are so good I took my sister and her husband to there multiple times. My sister likes their drunken noodles, I like their Pad Thai, and brother-in-law had some dish with beef and he liked their food too. Oh and they sell some Asian grocery items too. Also their portions are huge! compared to other Thai restaurants I've gone to in York.

Me and my mother were having a girls day out. We decided to try out the District Thai place. The Thai tea was good, and so was the sticky mango rice. We both ordered the same thing the chicken hibachi… it was so bland. The vegetables didn’t seem to be cooked fully just steamed. The chicken it self was like rubber and kinda raw feeling. We also got this garden roll thing. We did NOT know it was just a salad wrapped in rice paper with tofu in it. It wasn’t good. We spent $70 on this. We were wondering why it was so empty and now we know why. I don’t recommend getting food here maybe just the tea. NOTHING TASTED OR LOOKED THE WAY IT SEEMED.

So good. Clean warm restaurant. All the dishes were executed perfectly with great flavor and ingredients. Really happy we got here. Nice clean warm interior. Relaxing environment. The server was super helpful and kind as well. Can’t wait to go back!!
